I have completed my training as a Clinical Psychologist in May 1992. I am registered in the specialist category of Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act (2003), and am a full member of the New Zealand Psychological Society and their Institute of Clinical Psychologists.

I have previously worked in a variety of settings including the public health service with the District Health Board, Disability Services, Non-governmental Organizations, as well as with Human Resources, My experience also includes working with a variety of cultural ethnicities and working in different countries such as India, the Middle East and New Zealand.

I work full time in private practice. I have extensive experience in working with mental health issues for Adults, Couples as well as children and their families. I work with organizations to provide Employee Assistance and am well experienced in providing support for work related issues as well as providing skills for career progression.

Part of my role also involves working as a Family Court Counsellor and am trained in offering mediation services to parents regarding child care issues.

I possess specialized knowledge with the diagnosis and management of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and have facilitated psycho educational sessions on ASD for families and care givers. Social Skills training for ASD is also undertaken.

My training has also involved completing Family Therapy in New Zealand.
