Confidentiality:

I follow the  Privacy and Confidentiality with all my clients. This is guided by the Psychologists Code of Ethics. For more information on it, please visit http://www.psychologistsboard.org.nz/

Confidentiality means that as your psychologist, I  cannot give any information about you to someone else without your permission. However, there are some exceptions to this, such as:

1.If you give me permission have information about you shared with others such as your family, key support people, family doctor, school. 

2. I may have to share information if my assessment indicates that you are a you are a danger to yourself or to other people. I am ethically bound to pass on information in such instances. However, i will always discuss with you beforehand before disclosing the information.

3 At times I may also discussion your case in supervision. Supervision is something that all psychologists should have and is when  Supervision itself is confidential, and in most circumstances the supervisor will not be given any information that identifies you.

Cancellation Policy and Missed Appointments

If you cannot make your appointment, please advise us as soon as possible so we can reschedule. Any missed appointments for which we have not been given 24 hours notice will incur the full fee.

Fees

fees are charged at the rate of NZD$170.00 per session.

GST will be added to all fees and costs, and will be included in all quotes and invoices.

Travel time is charged at 50% of the hourly rate for all time travelled (plus GST), and the distance travelled is charged at the rate specified by the Inland Revenue Department (i.e., $0.70 per km plus GST).

Payment options are either by direct debit or cash. I do not have EFTPOS or Credit Card facilities to accept payment.
